• Hitmarker is an esports jobs website that has the biggest database of esports candidates, esports jobs, and esports companies online today. It requires a user to have an account to benefit fully from its services, but is currently free to use for all.
• Our website was developed with a mobile-first mentality, meaning that its functionality remains the same regardless of the user's choice of device. Traffic on the website is currently split evenly between desktop and mobile, with a very small percentage of users browsing via tablet.

# What are the key features of Hitmarker?
Hitmarker's key selling point is that we have the biggest database of esports candidates, esports jobs, and esports hiring companies online today.
At the most basic level, it is free to use for all, with the caveat being that a user account is required to both post jobs and to apply for jobs.
This is one of the primary reasons for the current size and continued growth of the database, as we have an attractive service that people looking to hire in esports, or to find jobs in esports, now have no real alternative to.
From a technical perspective, the website functions the same way on both desktop and mobile, with candidates able to conduct a “smart search” or to filter and build their own custom jobs feed within seconds. Current analytics show that 49% of users browse on desktop and 49% of users browse on mobile, with just 2% browsing on tablet.
Companies are able to quickly filter through applicants using our “yes”, “no”, “maybe” sorting functionality and to leave notes on candidate profiles. Building out company functionality is our primary mission for 2020, as we believe achieving feature-set parity with the likes of Indeed and LinkedIn will lead to us being able to attract many more companies to using us as their exclusive hiring platform.
# How do people typically use the website?
Company representatives create company profiles and sign up to Hitmarker to post and promote jobs, and they are able to assign multiple co-workers as “admins” of their account.
This means the larger companies in esports only require one master account for their recruitment, making it easy for hiring managers from multiple departments to utilise our service. Occasionally we also receive requests for recruitment services for companies, which we hope to be able to offer to companies by way of another strategic partnership beginning in early 2020.
Candidates create candidate profiles and sign up to Hitmarker to apply to jobs and to become eligible for our unique candidate services like cover letter/resume audits and candidate spotlight features.
They are also able to build a basic profile page that is shown to hiring managers every time they apply for jobs that are managed through our website.
# What technology underpins the website?
Hitmarker is the only custom-built jobs board in esports, and one of the relatively few jobs boards in the world that is built with unique code.
All features are developed in-house and are built using standard coding languages like PHP, JavaScript, VueJS and MySQL.
The primary benefits of being custom-built are that we own all of our own intellectual property and that it gives us another potentially lucrative revenue stream in the future, where we may decide to license out our technology for jobs platforms in non-competitive industries to use.
